The polymer industry offers many rewarding career opportunities and an internship with a company working with polymeric materials and processes is an excellent way for you to determine if this is an industry in which you may want to spend your career
With the growth of the polymer industry continuing at a higher rate than total manufacturing, there will be many exciting and well-paid jobs. The polymer industry is known for making Styrofoam containers, beverage bottles, and plastic bags, but recent high-technology applications are producing products in high technology areas, such as biomedical, nanomaterials, and fuel cells. Check out the opportunities with an internship in this growing industry.
Ohio's Third Frontier Internship Program is administered through a web site that is accessible to all qualified Ohio companies and students. Through the central site, all students registering in the Program have access to postings for all companies registered with any of the 17 Third Frontier Grantees. In addition, registered companies can review resumes for all students registered.
Web-based registration is simple and provides immediate access to potential internships across the state. Click here for "Student Registration Procedure."
